While lead is heavy, labour-intensive and environmentally harmful, Fast Flash combines ease of installation with outstanding performance. Thanks to its fully self-adhesive backing and flexible material, it can be installed quickly and easily without the need for a lead dresser or specialised tools. This saves time and reduces the risk of installation errors. Fast Flash is available in a colour to match every roof: grey, anthracite, black and terracotta.

Technical properties

Fast Flash consists of a strong aluminium core with an MS polymer layer on both sides and a self-adhesive butyl backing. This construction makes the material extremely flexible, allowing up to 60% elongation lengthwise and 20% widthwise, enabling it to conform perfectly to virtually any roof shape or detail.

The product features a protective top layer, while all layers remain permanently bonded. As a result, Fast Flash continues to deliver reliable performance even after years of exposure to sunlight, wind and rain.

Applications and installation

Fast Flash is suitable for a wide range of applications, including:

  • roof flashings

  • beneath roof tiles

  • around chimneys

  • façades

  • pipe penetrations and other watertight details

Installation is straightforward:

  1. Ensure the substrate is clean, dry and free from grease.

  2. Cut Fast Flash to the required size.

  3. Remove the protective film from the self-adhesive backing.

  4. Firmly press the material into place by hand or with a pressure roller.

  5. Finish the edges neatly to achieve a watertight seal.
